How to choose: ten points, fifteen minutes, no ranking
There is no ranking on this site, and that is a choice. A score for a casino that opened three weeks ago would be a guess with a number in front of it. What can be done is to give you the list a score would have been built on.
The list is built so the cheapest checks come first. If a casino falls at point 1, you save the other nine.
The paperwork first
1. Look up the licence in the issuer's own register. The domain has to be on the certificate, the company has to match the foot of the front page, and the status has to be active. The procedure for Curaçao, Anjouan and Malta is on check the licence.
The same lookup settles two more things: the complaints route, see is it legal to play without a Danish licence, and the tax on any winnings, see tax on winnings.
2. Note the expiry date. Especially on Anjouan licences, which run for shorter terms than most. A date close to today does not mean no; it means look it up again before the next deposit.
3. Find the date on the terms. No date is a point in itself — see warning signs.
The money out, before the money in
4. Find the minimum withdrawal. Compare it with the minimum deposit. If the first is higher, you know it now rather than afterwards.
5. Find the withdrawal cap per day, week and month. Irrelevant at small amounts and decisive at large ones. If nothing is stated, that is an answer.
6. Find the approval window in hours. The wait you cannot influence. All three points are explained on withdrawals.
The cashier
7. Check which networks are credited. In a crypto cashier the network is the one step that cannot be undone — see payments.
8. Find out when verification arrives. At sign-up, at the first withdrawal, or at a given amount. The list of documents is on verification, and they can be sent in advance.
The offer, and yourself
9. Read the five numbers in the bonus terms. Multiplier, what it is calculated on, maximum bet, game contribution and deadline. If one is missing the offer has not been finished — see bonus.
10. Set your limits before you deposit the first time. Without a Danish licence nobody sets them for you: neither ROFUS nor MitID stands between you and the cashier. Find the deposit and loss limits in the account settings, and set them the same evening you open the account. Why that is the most important point on the list is on play with care.
The eleventh check, the one you make yourself
Once the list has been run, one thing is left that no text can give you: a test withdrawal. Deposit a small amount, play some of it, and ask for the rest back before you put more in. That exercise answers points 4, 5, 6 and 8 at once, and it costs a couple of hundred kroner.
It is also the whole basis of new casinos without a Danish licence: the list replaces the score nobody can honestly give a place that has just opened. What else we do and do not do is on how we work.
