How we work, and what we stay away from
This site is built on three kinds of source and does not write about what it has not seen. That means fewer numbers than on most sites about the same subject, and the numbers that are here can be looked up.
New Casinos Without a Danish Licence covers one question thoroughly: what a player can check for themselves before the money goes into a site nobody knows yet.
The three sources
Licence registers. The certificate register at the Curaçao Gaming Authority, the licence lookup at Anjouan and the public list at the Malta Gaming Authority. They are public, free and the only places a licence claim can be tested. The procedure is written out on check the licence, so you can run it yourself.
The operators' own terms. Withdrawal caps, approval windows, verification requirements and bonus terms are things the operator has written down and is bound by. A term beats any review, including our own text.
The games' own info screens. Return to player, volatility and maximum win are stated inside the game, and that is the only version of the numbers that applies to the exact build sitting in the lobby.
What the site does not do
No ranking. We do not give casinos scores. At a new place the score would be built on three weeks of operation, and that is a guess with a number in front of it. What stands instead is a checklist you can run yourself.
No payout times. Nowhere on this site does it say that a casino pays out in so and so many hours, because none of us has timed it. What stands instead is what the wait consists of — see withdrawals.
No names beside the button. The advertising link on the site is routed by where the reader is, so the same link opens different operators for different readers. A name beside the button would therefore be right for some and wrong for the rest, and that is an error on the page, not a detail.
No guidance on getting around anything. Not self-exclusion, not age limits, not geographic blocks. If that is what you are looking for, this is the wrong site, and the right place is on play with care.
How the site earns money
With advertising. The blocks marked «Advertising» are paid placements, and we are paid if somebody opens an account through them. That is the whole business model, and it stands here because it is worth knowing while you read the rest.
The arrangement has one rule: it does not touch the editorial side. There is no ranking to influence, and the numbers on the pages — licence numbers, expiry dates, wagering requirements, network fees — come from registers and terms that anybody can look up in ten minutes. Moving them to please an advertiser would be both dishonest and pointless.
When the pages were written
Every page carries a date at the top. It is the date of the most recent rewrite, not the date of first publication. Licence registers change, terms change, and a page without a date is therefore not worth trusting — ours included.
If something has become wrong, write to us through contact. Corrections are cheaper than letting an error stand.
